Every year in May we have a retreat. Come join our UUCM community for a weekend of intergenerational fellowship and fun at Walker Creek Ranch, 1700 acres of beautiful rolling hills just 20 miles west of Novato. You have a choice of accommodations: either semi-private rooms with 2, 3, or 4 beds (linens provided,) and shared baths, or economy dormitory bunk bed cabins for 8-10 people (bring your own sleeping bags & pillows.) With either, three delicious meals a day created by the Walker Creek kitchen staff will be served in the central dining hall, beginning with supper Friday night and ending with Sunday lunch. Child care is available for younger children and many activities are provided for young and old alike.
Besides the wonderful meals, worship services, and just the grand opportunity to spend quality time together, there are many outstanding programs for you and your children to enjoy at the Retreat. There are many intergenerational programs including our traditional barn dance.
The goal of the weekend is to strengthen our sense of community by spending quality time together in a lovely environment. The Retreat offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities and workshops of interest to all ages.
Photographers include: Dan VanWinkle, Jennifer Gennari, Cindy Irish, John Schlag, Mikey Songster, John Severinghaus, Susan Mathews, and Art Rosvold.
