Planning a Visit?

At UUCM we are happy to welcome Guests to our Sunday services. We hope you will feel comfortable here, so we have prepared this page for you.

Our services begin at 10:30 am and last until 11:45 am.

You might want to arrive a little early so you can…

• Stop at the Guest Table in the foyer and say hello. The person staffing the table will be happy to respond to your questions about this congregation or Unitarian Universalism in general. Several times a year we also offer orientation sessions if you are new to this faith tradition and would like to learn more.

• We invite you to pick up an information packet about us and make a name tag.

• You will find a flyer on Participation Opportunities at the Guest table. Join in any activity that interests you. Current happenings will be listed on the back of the order of service and on this web site under Events and Activities and Adult Education.

• If you have children, look for the Director of Religious Education, Linda Haumann, or another Greeter for families with children when you come in. They are usually standing in the foyer on Sunday mornings to meet you and answer any questions you may have about the Children’s Religious Education program. Children attend the beginning of the service and then leave for their classes. For young children, you may want to go with them the first time to help them get adjusted to the new setting.

     •      Nursery care is available downstairs from 10:15 until 11:45.

     •     Join us after the service for complimentary refreshments in the courtyard or the Fireside Room.

     •     Meeting with our Minister is a good way to discover how your interests and gifts can find a home at UUCM. Call Rev. Chip at 479-4131 to set up an appointment.

One of the hallmarks of Unitarian Universalism is that our services vary in style and content. You may want to visit us at least three times to get a better feel for who we are. We also look forward to getting to know you and learning what you are looking for in a faith community.

Directions: Exit Highway 101 at Terra Linda / Freitas Parkway; go to east side of the freeway (Frontage Rd.-Redwood Hwy); north to first traffic light; right on Professional Center Parkway to top of the hill; right on Channing Way, then left through the UUCM gate and right to our parking lot at the top of the hill.

New- We now have 4 "Sunday First Time Visitor" parking spots at the top of the parking lot just for you so it's ok if you are late. Map
